Harvest creates new ventures through a synergetic portfolio model. We co-build companies centred around an initial ‘keystone’ company that has a tremendous opportunity at capturing significant market share.

Opportunity Identification

We begin by identifying and sizing a business opportunity, which includes quantifying the addressable market. This is key in determining whether the problem is worth solving, and allows us to place our resources in those with the biggest potential.

Defining the Model and Costs

We solution avenues for monetizing the identified market opportunity. This includes defining product features and understanding customer segments, channel acquisition costs, as well as any regulatory requirements. We then develop a business model for sustainable, continuous growth and build forecasts for planned revenue streams, expansion strategy and operational expenses.


Validation

Market validation includes creating a MVP to test key assumptions. By utilizing internal and external resources to critique, refine and review the product, we further develop brand and product positioning and create messaging to take more validation tactics publicly and further assess product-market fit.

Fund raising

Harvest will support its early stage companies during its first raises and structuring of the rounds. We also assist with grant writing and government relations.

Founder identification

Identifying founders with passion and the skillset to execute on the venture’s vision is key. While a defined team must be in place at the time of the first raise, the earlier founding members join a Harvest venture, the better for the company and the more ability to shape its future.
